Whose the Author?
Research your author and write a paragraph telling all about them.
R.L. Stine's lives in New York with his wife, Jane. He has a dog named Minnie. He is a very popular children's author. He has wrote several books. He has a series for teens called Fear Street.
Well, let's see. Mystery Books? I think I am going to do a little research and post some titles and their authors names on our class web page. OKay? When I was a kid I loved reading Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew Mysteries. They really are good. You would like them. Plus, you would get to go to the library. I love going to the library. Give me tonight to find some good mystery titles and put them on our web page!
Gail Carson Levine wrote Ella Enchanted, a newbery honor award winner. She also wrote The Princess Tales series, volumes one and two. She wrote The Wish, and The Two Princesses of Bamarre, and Betsy Who Cried Wolf. She lives in Brewster, New York, with her husband, David, and their dog, Jake. She grew up in New York City, and has been writing all her life. I read Ella Enchanted The Pricess Tales volume one, and The Wish. I liked The Wish beacuse it was sort of sad but mostly beacuse it's about a girl (Wilma). She learns that her wish that she makes with an old lady comes true. She only wished to be the most popular girl at Clavorford, when she really wnated to just be popular everywhere. I think this book is a little inappropriate for kids under the age of 10, but that is my opinion. Rachel K. Daniels
